Erie Canal Lock E-13 is on schedule to temporarily re-open today at noon. Fred Tug 44 Didn't happen. That is what the Notice to Mariners stated, but isn't the case. We went through locks 2 - 10 on 10/3, the date of the posted noon opening. The lockmaster at 10 stated that there was a rumor that the locks were opening at noon. I explained that there was a Notice stating such. He said he and his boss never heard of it. He did tell us that lock 11 was closed. He was right on that point.
