Woops.  Sorry about that blank message.  As for the oil disaster, it's
difficult being an enthusiast of boats or any kind of water recreation without
being kind-of sick about this.  Decades ago when Baltimore was an industrial
titan, the huge Bethlehem Steel facility at Sparrows Point spewed a redish
dust throughout the area that covered cars, boats, buildings or whatever
possession you had.  Eventually they came up with a paint job for cars that
matched the color of the dust.  It was called a "Point Special".  Who knows.
Maybe they'll come up with a bottom and hull paint to match the oil slick.
Meanwhile, I'll just keep aiming at my dream catamaran under the assumption
that all will be well by that time.  If not, maybe I'll have to look for clean
water.
