Authentication errors - Installing and Configuring CSpace locally for development on Ubuntu 14.04

Hello all,

I'm receiving authentication problems (invalid username/password
combination) when attempting to deploy CSpace on my local machine. I've
gone through both the manual installation and the automated installation,
encountering similar things with both.

I've managed to get the server running and the demo login page. However,
the username and password combination can not be validated (see cspace-app
and cspace-services partial trace below) with the demo page.

Also, any attempts to initialize the application results in the page error
starting with:

Initialise vocab/auth entries
testing Authority  contact
testing Authority  work
need to create Instance work-work
that was weird but probably not a problem Connection
