Wanted flooring similar to teak and holly flooring. Has anyone had experience with laminated flooring in boats - similar to Pergo flooring for houses?? Does this type of flooring work for trawlers? It is the type that has underlayment foam to make the flooring float for expansion / contraction. I presently have carpet in the salon, and staterooms and want a wood floor look and saw a boat recently that used the laminate floor -- that looked fantastic, but I'm concerned that it isn't for boats.... any advice is appreciated.
