I visited two of Hartford Audubon's preserves today -- Tobacco Valley, where we were treated to yellow warblers, catbirds, house wrens, a bald eagle over the marsh, and more.  And at Greenstone Hollow, where the well-marked trails lead to many different habitats all in a small area, there was a white-crowned sparrow, yellow warblers, common yellowthroats, catbirds, and more.  Greenstone is usually more birdy -- it was the middle of the day and warm, but the white-crowned was a treat!
