To whom it may concern I have an older 3dconnexion spacenavigator that I have set up with openscad. My settings are as shown in yellow in the picture below and this works fairly well for me. [image: SpaceNavigatorSetupAxes.png] The issue/bug appears after Openscad has been closed. When I open the app next time then the axes mapping is not properly initialized in the way that "viewport rel. translation" is ignored and only "zoom" + "viewport rel. rotation" is working, There is a workaround which requires me to open Edit > Preferences and then close Preferences right away. Now my settings are working the way I originally set them up. Bonus bug: Curiously enough, if I open the Edit > Preferences > Axes pane it appears that my axes mappings do not at all exist (see picture below).
