SEEKING ART MARKET VENDORS - Arts & Nature Event on Saturday, May 16 [A picture containing text Description automatically generated] The City of Federal Way Arts Commission in partnership with the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden (RSBG) announce a Call for Artists for our annual event Blue Poppy Day - Art in Bloom to be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden. Blue Poppy Day is a collaboration with the City of Federal Way Arts Commission that celebrates artistic talent from Puget Sound, the connection between the complementary beauty of art and nature, and the blooming of two rare Himalayan Blue Poppy meadows at the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden. Now in its 9th year, Blue Poppy Day attracts 2,500 visitors each year and includes 6 performances, a poetry garden, food trucks, and activities for families.
