The Office of Arts & Cultural Vitality and the Tacoma Arts Commission strive to advance and sustain a fertile foundation for arts, culture, and innovation to emerge, grow and thrive. However, we want to shape the future together to continue nurturing an authentic and vibrant community reflective of the voices and talents throughout our city. Help us learn more about who you are and your aspirations for this community. We want to understand your needs, desires, concerns and powerful creative insights into how we can continue to advance Tacoma as an enriching, supportive community where the contributions of our creatives from every sector, neighborhood, age and ethnicity are foundational to our evolution. This will be a great time to convene and network with fellow creatives both new and known. We have an opportunity to drastically increase funding for Arts, heritage and culture in Tacoma, a true game changer. What could that look like for you? Your input from this event will help inform our funding programs and future legislation. Supervised children are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
