Annual Assessment Letters Have Been Sent to your Mailbox
INSTRUCTIONS: Open payment letter - Pay immediately - Now, it’s off of your “to-do” list until 2025!
Payments are due BEFORE January 31st, 2024. Please make your payment a priority to avoid penalties, interest, and that nagging feeling that you forgot to do something. All the people who volunteer their free time to your HOA will appreciate your timely attention. We want to make their unpaid positions as easy as possible because if they charged us for their time our assessments would be much, much higher.

Here is the actual By Law language regarding our assessment responsibilities:
Assessments will be considered to be in arrears if they have not been paid in full by January 31st of each year, and thereafter until they shall have been so paid. In accordance with the Protective Restrictions and Articles, unpaid amounts shall constitute a lien against the lot assessed and shall bear interest from the January 31st due date at a rate not to exceed the highest rate then permitted by law. Arrears still existing on December 31st of any year will be considered to be in default, and the Treasurer will then give formal notice thereof to the Members concerned by registered mail. If the arrears are not paid within thirty days of mailing of the registered notice the Directors may bring an action at law against the Owner or Owners personally obligated to pay the same or foreclose the lien against the property, and interest, costs, and reasonable attorney’s fees of any such action shall be added to the amount of such arrearages.

Online Assessment Payment Option (log into your ProVivo Account):

Welcome New Board Members & Officers
Introducing Stacia Smith and Lew Thayer as our newly elected Directors for 2024! Thank you for caring for our community enough to volunteer your time, effort, and talents to keep us progressing into the future.

Your 2024 officers are as follows and can be reached at directors@vuecrest.net mailto:directors@vuecrest.net:
Rob DeRider-President
Stacia Smith-Vice President
Stevie Bathiche-Treasurer
Secretary-OPEN

Critical HOA Vacancies
We have a Director’s seat open due to an unexpected resignation and the office of Secretary is also open to be filled. Please contact us at directors@vuecrest.net mailto:directors@vuecrest.net to volunteer and/or get more details. We also have openings for Social and Compliance Committees. Or, is there a committee you’ve been dying to start? We’re open to your ideas.

Chickens in Vuecrest
Hey, I love fresh eggs too! But just as a reminder, Vuecrest does not allow any fowl (chickens, etc.) other than song birds in the community. Governed by our CC&R’s, we are also limited to two dogs or two cats on a single Vuecrest parcel.

Your Two Cents
Ever wonder where your taxes go? Now is the time to let the City know where you would like your money to be spent. The deadline is January 22nd for the City of Bellevue’s 2025-26 budget. Personally, I’d like all the ugly, exposed cell towers camouflaged, but that’s just my own pet peeve. Let them know what is important to you. Here’s your chance to provide feedback on the City of Bellevue’s budget priorities.  Read more details here https://bellevuewa.gov/city-news/provide-feedback-city-budget-priorities?utm_medium=email.

And for those too busy to read, feel free to come and enjoy the friendship and share a little wine and conversation with your neighbors. And you just might hear about a book you’d like to read in the future! Email Mara Pitkethly dtpit@uw.edu mailto:dtpit@uw.edu for details.
