Dumpsters are Full

Unfortunately both of our dumpsters are now filled to capacity. We'd ask
you to refrain from putting additional items in the dumpsters. If they get
any fuller, Waste Connections will not be able to move them off site
without the HOA incurring additional and significant costs.

If you were unable to avail yourselves of the dumpsters this time,  we are
sorry.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Hello Neighbors.
My husband and I visited the dumpster in an attempt to rid a few moderate-sized items and although the dumpster appears full,  the bottom third to haft of the dumpster is actually empty because of a large oak branch that is preventing anything from reaching the bottom. Each year the dumpsters fill with what appears to be mostly large tree trimmings. I’d like to suggest that we consider having a service come to chip the large tree trimmings, possibly use the mulch for our neighborhood, and keep the dumpster space for actual bulk trash items.
Large tree trimmings can also be taken to the lot across from Champion High School where they will be mulched for free.
We’ve lived here 11 years and have never been able to take advantage of the bulk trash dumpsters because of large tree branches, no matter how early we seem to arrive. Could we also consider more frequent bulk trash service? Maybe twice a year or quarterly?

Thanks.

Before the dumpsters were delivered, everyone was specifically asked NOT to put yard waste in them. That tree/branch should not have been in there to begin with.

The mulch site across from Champion high school is available for yard waste, but as far as the cost, it’s typically anywhere from $5-10 per load, but I’ve taken some smaller loads over there (just the bed of my truck, not a trailer) and they didn’t charge me. But just be aware, the guy is “supposed to” charge you $10 each time you drop off.
