  • Roatan - Honduras. Honduras is a very poor country
but Roatan is an up & coming cruisers destination.
Good place to wait wx, and there's a good angle to the
west end of Cuba from there.

There is a very nice marina in Roatan owned by an American couple from Seattle.  They were the previous owners of Steve Dubnoff's Willard 47.  They are on the Internet but I forget the name of the place.  They are good friends of Hal Wyman.  Ask Hal about them when you see him on the FUBAR.

I have been to Roatan on diving expeditions.  It's a beautiful place.  World's second largest barrier reef.  The Red Lobster restaurant chain has a shrimp fleet there.

I may be coming down on the FUBAR as crew aboard John Rudolph's Krogen 48.  We'll see.

It's Barefoot Cay, jointly owned by myself and John and Milesse Kennedy,
previous owners or the Willard 47.
