Have you ever wondered how to tap into traditional and online networking
sites to promote your artwork? How to create a stand-out funding
application? What should be in an art contract? What galleries and
museums look for when considering an artist's work? How to manage your
arts business? How to navigate the world of public art?
Then join the Tacoma Arts Commission for the third annual Arts
Symposium, an event dedicated to providing local artists with nuts and
bolts information in order to become and remain successful in the arts.
Choose between a range of informational sessions which are presented by
professionals and educators who are concerned with the success of local
artists. All sessions are held at the University of Puget Sound campus
in Wyatt and McIntyre halls. Room numbers will be announced to
registered attendees prior to the Symposium.
The Arts Symposium is a free event but pre-registration is required as
space is limited. Please see the attached PDF for a listing of sessions
