I just got this from Bob Dewire:

"Hi Glenn:  Just had a large show of Cory's Shearwaters off Stonington Point flying east through Fisher's island Sound heading out over the east end of the island.  I estimated 150 birds between 6:30 and 7:00 am.  When I left, there were a few birds still going through.  A few were in Ct. waters, but virtually all were in NY waters.  I had 1 Sooty Shearwater in NY waters and 1 Great Shearwater in CT waters.  It flew across the end of the point inside the breakwater.  Probably worth early morning checks while this weather holds.  Bob"
