It is now 48 hours since we left Marina Flamenco at Balboa, Panama and we are half way to our first stop at Marina Barillas, El Salvador. Position is 8 44 N 84 29 W. So far we have had light and variable winds, except during occasional squalls, with a long period swell from the SSW. We are under the influence of the intertropical convergence zone.
