Wild Wind IV left Lake Superior in late Oct. 2006 and went via the Tenn-Tom to
Pensacola where she was hauled and spent 6 weeks on the hard.  After the new
year we launched and went to the Bahamas via Clearwater FL and across the
Okeechobee and down to West Palm.  Spent the time till early April visiting
the islands all the way to Turks and Caicos. Was back in West Palm by mid
April. Went north to Urbanna Va. where the boat stayed for a month till the
Erie Canal opened.  Returned to Lake Superior before the first of June. To
many miles in too short of time. Last leg took 12 day. Spent the summer
fishing on the big lake.  WWIV was hauled last Wed. and will sit on the hard
outside in the cold this winter. Winterizing all the systems is quite a job.

The future is unknown at this time. After almost steady cruising or boat
building since 1988 we may be getting tired.  WWIV has now traveled about
45000 miles since we left NZ in April 2002. The engines have 3000 hrs.  Most
of the miles have been on one engine at a time. She has been run as a trawler,
between 9-10 knots.
