I want to echo what Kevin, and others, have said. We have been pleased with our HOA BODs.
We’ve been here 6 years and have been pleased. Steps have been taken to try to curb people (residents or visitors) from speeding or not stopping at stop signs. Then the complaints come about those measures. Nothing is perfect, and never will be. Sure, there can always be improvements, if truly necessary. Ultimately, from my opinion, we are pleased here, as well as with our current BODs.
An HOA can be draconian; but, I don’t believe that is the case here.
I’ve been in thankless jobs before and haven’t enjoyed them. Clearly, the HOA BOD positions are either not appreciated or hated. For here, I don’t hate our HOA nor have issues with our BODs. Anytime I need to speak with any of our BODs, they will take the time to talk because I’ve experienced it with them before.
With that, I would like to extend a big THANK YOU to our HOA BODs.
Sincerely,Tom Carroll

I moved into LR in December 2006, I may be the one of the few really long-timers in the community ... I think my home was the 4th complete... best decision I’ve made since I became a responsible adult.😜
This is my first home with an HOA and I’m thankful for the appreciation in my home‘s value over the last 15 years no doubt as a direct result of those who have volunteered to serve this community. Those servants have led by example often cleaning up the messes of others...I’ve seen TA cleaning up at the entrance numerous times always with a smile and warm greeting. We’re fortunate!
Since this is my first HOA I have no experience nor desire to be one of those servants but I do have a desire to see good stewardship with the least amount of intrusion ... in short I’m not seeing anything broken here that entails making drastic changes to what has been a well functioned community. I’m one person with one vote so in the big scheme my opinion doesn’t really account for much...my gratitude for those that have and continue to serve is boundless and needs to be expressed.
Best wishes it’s been a very tough year!

I second Nicole's sentiments! We have been on the board in a previous
