I have read about several cases of this contracted from  using household
tap water in sinus/nasal rinse "netti pots". Distilled  water is recommended.
Ya can't count on being safe anywhere!

Steve
When the bug was contracted by using tap water, was it from a well ? I
expect that city waters would have been sufficiently treated.
thanks
