Hi everyone,
This Wednesday, the 4th, is the NCL Public Policy Committee meeting at 4:00 EDT. We have a pretty full agenda to start.

  •     2020 Census - citizenship question
    
  •     Strategizing for WIOA reauthorization
    
  •     Public charge NPRM (see note below)
    
  •     NCL survey on advocacy priorities
    
  •     Comment period for SNAP rule change
    
  •     DOE reorganization
    
  •     NCL May meeting and legislative briefing

P. 78: "In general, an alien with educational credentials and skills is more employable and less likely to become a public charge."
