Registration is open for the Linocut Printmaking Workshop #5 at the Tacoma Armory, Suite 15 on Saturday, June 28, 10am-5pm.
Tacoma based printmaker, Yoshi Nakagawa, will guide participants to learn relief printmaking with 4”x6” linoleum blocks. We'll transfer the one-color image on the block, carve, and handprint proofs and at least two washi (mulberry paper) prints with oil-based ink. We can add color with water-based pigments. This is a technique you can do at home once you have the materials and even print on textiles and fabric.
