Hello Gators,In addition to getting your input for tomorrow, I'd also like to offer a bike ride on Monday morning...Monday: I'm planning to do about a 2 hour SRT ride starting at 8:30am on Monday (sleeping in for a change).  If anyone would like to join, no need to reply, just show up at our usual Oaks meeting location (trail parking lot off of Egypt Rd./New Mill Rd.).  Note that the Y indoor facility is closed that day so there will be NO Tri Swim Classes.  The outdoor pool is open in case anyone would like to get in some laps.Tomorrow (Saturday): As announced previously, we have an OWS at Blue Marsh planned for tomorrow starting at 8:30am followed (optional) by either a bike ride (1-2 hours) or run (30-60 minutes).  Then we're planning to have a small cookout... Chris R has volunteered to bring a portable grill and hot dogs and burgers.  Everything else is BYO... drinks, side dish, snacks, alternate main dish, etc.  Nothing fancy... just a chance to gather for a short time after the workout.  Below is a summary of who I think has told me they are coming and in what activities they plan to participate.  If all looks good, no need to reply, but if you are coming and your name is missing or has question marks or is listed incorrectly, please reply back so that we know who to look for and have a good headcount for lunch.  All activities should be wrapped up I think by about 1pm.  Also, I'm planning to stop briefly at the Y to gather anyone that would like to car pool; I'll leave promptly from the Y parking lot just to the right of the entrance at 7:10am (black Dodge Journey).  I've also attached a map of the area at Blue Marsh where we plan to swim and have the cookout (use 1268 Palisades Dr. to get to the "Dry Brooks Day Use Area" park entrance (do not take the boat launch entrance); it's about a 45-50 minute drive from the Y.  Note that it gets busy early on holiday weekends, so expect that you might have to wait 15 minutes in line to enter the park if you arrive around the 8am-8:15am opening time.

For anyone interested in doing a preview ride for Rev 3 Pocono or just doing a cool ride in Delaware Water Gap Park, my friend with the Facebook Tri-Pocono Group are conducting a ride this Saturday and next Saturday.  See below for details.  Sorry for the late notice.  PowerBar will be providing support for these rides as well.

Andy

We will be doing training rides for the Olympic and Half Distance for the Pocono REV3 this Saturday 8/30/2014.  We will be meeting at the Shawnee Inn for a 7:30AM departure and shuttle bikes to the T1 start.  The drive to T1 will be on the run course so, you will have the opportunity to review the run course.
We will meet at the Shawnee Inn Parking lot.  Go through the gate and the parking lot will be on the left across from the Shawnee Inn.
We also, would like to do another ride the following Saturday 9/6/2014 at the same time (7:30am).
