BEST WISHES FOR A SAFE AND SUCCESSFUL EVENT...

... to all Gators virtually participating and actually getting fit!  Our
big event of the weekend is the "Gator Done 12 Hours of Power Virtual
Cycling Relay", but there are 5 additional events going on that we also
want to highlight, including two being offered by our awesome club sponsors
Scoogie Events and Chester County Running Store!  If you are participating
in one of these events or another that is not listed, please post a comment
so that we can send our best wishes your way as well!

This weekend's events include the following (and just a reminder that links
to all events can be found in our "Who's In?" calendar posted under
"Files"); all are FREE unless otherwise noted...

• Ongoing

◦ USAT Virtual Run Bike Run (ends this Sunday, May 17): This event includes
sprint and Olympic distances.  Brian Kozera has completed it.  Anyone else
already done or planning to get it done this weekend?

◦ The Great Virtual Race Across Tennessee 1000K (through August 31): Ruth
Subach's event continues!

◦ Quaranteam Strong Virtual Challenge (through June 30): This event is
offered by club sponsor Scoogie Events and Scoogie Snyder and includes
completing any or all of the following run distances over the timeframe of
the event... 5K, 10K, 10 mile, half marathon!  Note that each requires a
separate registration.  To date here's where I think we stand (corrections
and additions are welcome!)...

• Cindy Kelecic, Don Mack, Doug Raab, and Jennifer Raab are planning to
complete the entire event

• Karen Dieciedue is doing at least the 5K and 10K

• Als Mac Doyle is doing at least the 10K

• Jill Basile is doing at least the 5K

◦ SRT Union Meadows King and Queen of the Hill Virtual Race (ends this
Sunday, May 17): This event is offered by club sponsor Chester County
Running Store and Don Morrison.  It includes your opportunity to be crowned
King or Queen of the Meadow Hill!

• IRONMAN VR7 (May 8-10): IRONMAN's virtual race series continues for a 7th
weekend and this time it's back to the Sprint distance duathlon, which
includes run 1 (1.5km/approx 1 mile), bike (20km/approx 12.5 miles), and
run 2 (5K; approx 3.1 miles).  Those I believe are participating include
Jill Basile, Don Mack, Doug Raab, Jennifer Raab, and Renee Schuck, but I'm
guessing there are more of you out there!

• CLUB EVENT: Gator Done 12 Hours of Power Virtual Cycling Relay... For a
3rd consecutive weekend we are offering our own event!  This time it will
include athletes (Gators plus family are welcome!) riding indoor and
outdoor one hour shifts starting at 7am and ending at 7pm with a virtual
Facebook "baton pass" taking place between each shift; we'll have a post at
the top of "Announcements" for text/photos/videos to be posted throughout
the day tomorrow, so that you can all follow along!  As of the time of this
posting, our lineup is as follows (post a comment with your time slot if
you'd like to join us for the fun!)...
