My old girl Waconia who will turn 14 soon is have a colitis, she gets the runs, problem. She is on the prescription gastro-intestinal dog food now and is taking Metronidazole off and on. When she take the medication it clears up within a day. About 2 weeks after the meds are gone it comes back and then back on the meds for a 3 weeks.
Has anybody had this problem? Any advice?
Brunswick has been fighting an ear infection. I have been using a special ear wash, ear was with some extra stuff in it, that the vet prescribed. This keeps his ears open and fairly clean but does not clear it up. I am taking him in to get the allergy test blood work done to see if that is the problem.
Again, any advice?
