Subject: wet or dry

We would like to invite informed comment on the hydro-dynamic differences of apparently similar boats. We have been very interested in the Lagoon Powercat 43. With the release of the new 44 our interest has been heightend. A point of concern has been the apparent "wetness" of this boat when underway. Every observation points to excessive spray streaming from the bows, outboard and between the hulls. By comparison, the Cumberland 44,(see video@ www.aeroyachts.com) is virtually "dry". Can anyone shed light on this issue and/or speak from experience

I have a magazine test report which makes a direct comparison of the two of them. It is in French and I have not taken the time to translate it yet. Anyone what to help? or maybe I can scan it and use goggle?

Can you give a better reference website for that video you mentioned?

Brian: Get busy translating, or put the french article on the PCList and let everyone fend for themselves.  Access
the website via Yahoo Internet Explorer, www.aeroyacht.com/fontainepajot/trawler44/specifications/htm
