We are looking for someone to assist us in the pottery studios and gallery approximately 10-15 hours per week. Our ideal applicant has pottery experience. Your primary focus will be to provide friendly customer service to our customers and keep the studios and gallery clean and tidy. Specific duties include, assisting shoppers in the gallery, explaining how the pottery painting process works and being available to answer questions, cleaning the studios and gallery, glazing, loading and unloading kilns, using the point-of-sale system, opening and closing the store. Common Sense, attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks and work independently is essential. Excellent customer skills are crucial, as well as a having a positive/upbeat attitude. Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older We are open 7 days a week. Must be available to work weekends, and some evenings.
