1/23 - McVeigh Road, Woodbury; could not find Ruff-legged hawk that Greg Hanisek found yesterday, but I did find an American kestrel sitting atop the grain elevator preening itself, then watched it fly away.  Very visible moustache and light coloring with no streaking so I doubt it was a Merlin.
