To All -
What started as a sparkling day on the water turned out to be quite
frustrating for those who raced. The wind circled the compass more than
once, and there were big holes to fall into. Which we all did at one time or
other. Thanks to the Race Committee (Gary, Ron and Vince) for getting a race
in, even if we did have to dodge the one-designs to cross the Finish Line!
According to RC Chair Gary Tenenbaum this coming Wednesday, August 28th is
the last official Wednesday night race of the season. But there's plenty
more racing Labor Day weekend (three races) and every Sunday through October
29th.
Attached are the "unofficial" results from today's racing. So far this year
no spinnaker boats have raced on Sundays. Despite today's conditions, they
don't know what they're missing.
