Dear all,

HRYRA is reviewing the PHRF splits for the spinnaker division. As some of
you know we changed the spinnaker fleet from 2 to 3 divisions. You may
recall divisions were:

Class                PHRF spread

#1                        0 – 120

#2                      121 – 160

#3                    161 – and higher

While this resulted in pretty tight racing in the divisions, it meant that
there were fewer boats in each division.

In determining whether or how to adjust these splits we are asking HRYRA
members what their anticipated participation will be in 2013. We realize
that many members were affected by Sandy, so this may affect the number of
boats that can participate this year.

Please let me know if you plan to participate in any of the HRYRA Races
this year (and which ones).

Also, if you race on Wednesdays or Sundays and don't race HRYRA what would
entice you to do so?

Best,

Eric Baumes
