Public ROW project update
The public right-of-way project for this year is making progress. The City
of Bellevue is working with homeowners to complete moving a rockery that was
encroaching on the public space; when that work is finished, we can begin
our planned improvements. Our contractor is lined up and ready to go to
build a level and smooth grass pathway. We hope to work while we still have
favorable weather.
SW Monument project update
The SW Monument capital project at the corner of NE 8th and 92nd Ave NE has
not been forgotten or abandoned. The discovery of a PSE vault directly
below the proposed location of the original monument sign interfered with
final permitting. Revised architectural drawings are in process and the
project is slated for completion in 2011.
Esplanades Rocks update
The oak tree has been treated for its root disease, some sod has been
removed, and compost has been tilled in, all in keeping with the
recommendations of the arborist. Since this is unplanned work, funding for
it (approx.. $2,500) has been drawn from reserves.
Picnic Thank-You
A big Vuecrest Thank You to the volunteers and the neighbors who made this
year's picnic a great success - Sarah Wright, the Kadavy family, the Greger
family, the Coes, the Yangs, Alexis David, Csaba Kiss, the City of Bellevue,
Whole Foods, and all who helped make it happen! Thank you!
