Edited to include start time: Fox Island Nature Center will sponsor a free public lecture by University of Washington professor John Marzluff entitled "Gifts of the Crow" on Friday, Jan. 18, 7 p.m. at Nichols Community Center, 690 9th Ave., Fox Island. Marzluff, a professor at the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences, has been studying crows for years and has written for many publications and several books on crows and their behavior.
