Good morning,

The band is open from 144 MHz through microwave.  The 1296 beacon is 35 dB over my noise floor.  K8TQK just mentioned that “the PGA beacon is 30 over”.  I take that to mean the WA4PGA beacon out of Virginia on microwave bands.

W9ZIH is on this morning and I think He and Bob are going to try some of the bands.

Makes me wish I had my microwave stuff up.

Over the weekend N4TY and I got two more sections on the “new”rotating tower.  It stands at 55 feet now and is ready to mount the first guy ring.  We are prepared to keep at it steadyly and I hope to have the tower up before Fall.
