Actually, Merlin has been excellent at picking up the Brown Thrashers on Skiff Mountain. First I detected the song on Merlin then finally found the Brown Thrasher singing high up in a conifer tree and was able to go inside my house, grab a camera and photograph the bird so that I can submit an NDDB to DEEP.
