Yes, I have blue prints - they are works in progress...  Kurt is now into detailed layout, structural design and stress analysis, and there will be CAD prints from that process, within roughly 2 weeks... Once we have the exterior finalized I will share an overall view with the group..

On cost of the boat... Materials cost what they cost and labor has to be paid...  Cylinder mold process brings in hulls at a fraction of having to build a mold and cast a fiberglass hull... But hulls are only a fraction of the total cost of a bridge deck cat...  I do have a guess at the cost of my project... Rather than quote a number I will tell you that my analysis is that it will run anywhere from 50% (best case) to 80% (worst case) of the price of buying a commercially built cat of this size...  The old story on boats, is if you need to save time and money, buy a boat don't build - go small, go cheap, go now...
I am the general contractor  for the project and not drawing a pay check... I am hiring an experienced builder to run the job and a crew of 4... I am leasing industrial space on the water...
Where I save is that I am not leaving a 25% profit in the hands of a commercial builder (not begrudging Endeavour, et. al. their retirement fund, but I don't feel the urge to contribute) ... I am also not paying for things I don't need or want, examples; wine cooler, sliding patio doors that will cave in the first time the boat is pooped in a storm, custom mahogany cabinetry, pop up TV screens, rotating bed with a mirrored ceiling, silk carpets, leaded crystal goblets, hot tub in the foredeck, etc...
Where I lose ground is the learning curve on a one off and the inevitable 'oops'...  Where I gain some of that back is that the boat systems take precedence over the interior designers latest euro sleek styling and crystal chandelier... We will have generous raceways for mechanicals going hull to hull and fore to aft... The interior will be finished after the systems are in and tested...
The devil is, of course, in the details and I can hear him tuning his fiddle already... It's going to be a wild ride...
