Join the City of Tacoma’s Open Space Program, Pierce Conservation District, and Tacoma350 at qʷiqʷəlut (“little marsh”) on April 12th from 9:00am -12:00pm for a volunteer work party!
qʷiqʷəlut is a unique salt marsh surrounded by industry down in the Tacoma tideflats. Come learn about the history of the site and then help clear weeds and do some mulching to prepare plants for the heat of the summer months! Gloves, tools, and snacks will be provided.
