Hi Scott,

I can understand Lugger's reluctance, as they don't do the installs, but have
to pay for warranty work. But, properly done, this shouldn't be a problem.
Mine's been in service a long time.

BTW, Lugger recently agreed to replace the lubeoil hoses (between pump and
filter) on my 2-1/2 year old engine (3200 hours) despite the fact that I'm not
the original purchaser. The PO had one blow out and replaced it, wisely
purchasing a spare. I noticed a slow leak in the other one and found the broken braid
on the outside of the bend was poking thru the liner. Suspicious, I looked up
Parker's (the manufacturer) specs and found, as I thought, that it was bent
to less than the minimum radius.  I then called Northern Lights' regional
office in Pompano. They said they were aware of this and that it had been
rectified. To their credit, they are sending me two hoses of the new type at no charge.
The original hose is marked "Parker No-skive 436-8"
