The ways in which food is grown, harvested, transported, processed,
packaged, accessed, consumed and disposed of have far reaching impacts.
How well (or not) our food system functions affects our bodies, economy,
communities, environment, as well as our capacity to withstand
emergencies.
The goal of these meetings is to bring together community stakeholders
from diverse food-related areas to begin building a network and a steady
dialogue around issues and gaps that exist in our local food system.
