Hello Gators,
Between this being our first full week with the new April-June workout
schedule and the cold weather expected, following is a brief summary of
what's planned...

  • Monday, 4/4:
    • 10:00am-11:00am: Tri Swim workout (Don S)
    • *8:30pm-9:30pm: *Tri Swim workout (Brian)... Brian is planning
practicing some open water swim techniques in the pool; see his Facebook
      invite.
  • *Tuesday, 4/5, 7:15pm-8:00pm, Spin Studio: *Spinning (Michelle; 45
minute spin session to be followed by an optional "on your own" run).  This
was scheduled to be our first outdoor Tuesday evening bike/run brick, but
we're staying indoors due to the cold weather; see Michelle's Facebook
invite.  NOTE THE EARLIER START TIME (our spin workouts have been starting
at 7:30pm; this one is 15 minutes earlier).  Also, the Gator Fitness
Challenge ends tonight (Sunday, 4/3) so there will not be a "group plank"
    following the spin.
  • Wednesday, 4/6:
    • 10:00am-11:00am: Tri Swim workout (Don S)
    • *8:30pm-9:30pm: *Tri Swim workout (Maribeth)
  • Thursday, 4/7, 7:00pm-8:45pm, Room 2: Bike Trainer workout (Don M).
Just a reminder that we are planning to offer this Thursday night indoor
bike trainer session even when the weather is nice (current forecast is
cold for this week).  The suggested alternative for Thursday nights for
those preferring an outdoor ride is the Suburban Cyclists ride that starts
at 6pm at Appalachian Brewing Company in Collegeville.
  • Saturday, 4/9, 7:30am-9:30am, Reynolds Dog Park: Outdoor bike ride
(Don M and Danny).  This is a very tentative plan as the current forecast
is indicating temps in the 20s overnight on Friday.  If we decide to cancel
the outdoor ride, the alternative will be a 2:00 indoor trainer ride in
Room 2 followed by an "on your own" 20-30 minute run starting at 7:30am.

Have a great week of training (and tapering for those of you racing next
week in the Love Run or any other events)!
