In all of my 54 years living in Windsor Locks I have never seen a run on Cape May Warblers seen from my yard as this year. Beginning on  September 23 and ending on October 8 I noted Cape May Warblers on five occasions involving either one or two individuals. In the past I would have seen maybe one individual bird during that time period. This species numbers tend to go up or down depending on spruce budworm populations so maybe they had a good nesting season this year but hard to tell from just my observations.
