Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsHi Patsy & Jack,
Congrats to you folks on your new adventure.
This August I shall celebrate the 30 th anniversary of me living aboard a
boat, a 1981, 37 ft Chien Hwa from 1982 to 1988. A new 1988, 36 ft
Kadey-Krogen Manatee since then. I am seeking a shore side facility after all
these years and will be very sad after it is sold.

We have sold HONGA, our Kadey Krogen-42, after six wonderful years. We
did
the Chesapeake, America's Great Loop, Lake Champlain and Canada up to
Quebec
City, the east coast up to Maine and several winters in Marathon in the
Florida Keys. We will miss her and all the many boating friends we met
along the way but did everything we wanted to aboard and now it's time to
move on to life's next adventure.

Joe, we enjoyed your company when we stopped over at the Huckins yard a couple of years ago on Jonah's Whale.
Sorry to hear that you are moving ashore.
We remember seeing Honga pass us by a couple of times too, possibly in Baltimore, and down South somewhere; either the Keys or on the St Johns.
Jonah.
