12/02/12 - New Haven, East Shore Park -- The Yellow-breasted Chat was
seen Sunday morning on the backside of the maintenance area (this is
the fenced in area with a shed and park vehicles, to be found off the
parking lot at the east end of the treatment plant. You can walk
around the fence on the grass.) Also seen Winter Wren (same place), 5
Northern Rough-winged Swallows, Red-breasted Nuthatch.

12/02/12 - Old Greenwich, Greenwich Pt -- male HARLEQUIN DUCK (in with
a group of Common Goldeneyes) off the southern end of Eagle Pond
seawall, flyover AMERICAN PIPIT. Returned to the point at about 3:00
in the hope of re-finding the Harlequin. After almost 2 hrs of
searching w/ Tim Anatinitis, no sighting (but did add a FORSTER'S
TERN.)

RAZORBILL. New Shore Road begins near the Boat Ramp near Pleasure
Beach/Jordan Cove and heads toward Harkness.

CROSSBILL and 8-10 WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS still hanging out in the
west beach pines.

Road section Yellow Bellied sapsucker and about 8 or 10 Rusty
Blackbirds. Also, White Crowned Sparrow at Vibert Road.

Sterling Pond -- SNOW GOOSE (2) among the hundreds of Canada Geese.

NUTHATCH (3).

been present in the parking lot for about 3 weeks. Also 1 American
Pipit.
