Per
http://wiki.collectionspace.org/display/DOC/Shutting+Down+CollectionSpace+Servers,
there should be a file|%JBOSS_HOME%\bin\shutdown.bat| for shutting down
the cspace server on a windows machine. However, in my installation,
this file does not exist.

Can anyone tell me how to shutdown cspace server on windows?

thanks,
john

You can just kill the container - i.e., in the console window for that
server, type Ctrl-C, let it spew some logging, answer "y" to shut it down,
and it will go away gracefully.

Hi John,

Ignoring the non-existant shutdown.bat file, the cspace server can be shut
down by sending a interrupt signal ctrl-c and then 'y' to exit within the
command terminal.

I've updated the page
http://wiki.collectionspace.org/display/DOC/Shutting+Down+CollectionSpace+Servers
to include the control-c technique instead of the shutdown.bat wild-goose-chase-causing technique.
