Sorry for the short notice The winter Carnival staff promised me info and did not come through yet so some info is better than none. Ted St Paul Winter Carnival Grand Day Parade January 24th 2015 The Northstar Newfoundland Club has been accepted (they cashed the check) to participate in the St. Paul Winter Carnival Parade. I don’t know what unit we are at his time. I have been calling and they promised to let me know last week but no info yet. This doesn’t give much time to get this information out to everyone so better some than none. The 2015 King Boreas Grand Day Parade will travel Eastbound on 7th Street at Smith Avenue N. to 5th Street to Market Street and disperse on Kellogg. East 5th and Broadway. This is the same route as last few years year. There is a map of the parade route on the winter carnival web site. I’m going to suggest you look at it and figure out where you want to park. I parked in the Civic Center ramp and walked down to the beginning. This placed me about a block away at the end of the parade. Just a suggestion. In 2013 we gathered in a parking lot at the beginning of the parade. We will join when our position passes by. Call or e mail Ted if you have any questions. Line up time is 12:40 pm. The last time we were in the parade we were close to the end but who knows where this year. Sometimes it is hard to finding a place to park.
