Next weekend on Saturday August 22 will be the Annual Picnic, Measurement and Election Event for the Midwest VHF / UHF Society (MVUS). The event is at Daun Yeagley's home. It will start at 11:00 AM. MVUS furnishes the soft drinks, hamburgers, and hamburg buns. Anything else the members need to bring along. For those who have never been at the event before, 11:00 AM is when the measurements start, so you can arrive anytime after 11:00AM. The food is served later on and the elections occur after the food is severed. If you are bring food drop a note to Greg Jump at greg.jump@gmail.com. He will try to insure we have a reasonable selection of sides. If you are bring something to measure drop Tom Holmes (N8ZM) and Daun Yeagley (N8ASB) a email so they can have the right equipment there to measure your items.
