To All -
What started as a gentle 8 - 10 mph breeze from the southeast built to a
rip-snorting 18 - 25 mph from the south. The good news was, on the beat home
from A mark, the wind up the river was rock steady with very few lifts and
headers. This was full "hike-out, rail-down" weather under a bright blue
sky. The Race Committee (thank you Kieran, Vince and April) picked a great
5-mile course. What made the day more fun was having six boats on the line
including Joe Giardina in Isole, and George Penny in Petite Bijou.
Don't forget about Friday night fun sailing. 5 pm on the patio.
See you on the water.
