My husband and I had a productive day birding at River Road today, rain notwithstanding!

Most exciting birds were a scarlet tanager, yellow-throated vireo, worm-eating warbler, a number of cerulean warblers (one of which flew down into a crabapple tree about 10 feet away from me) and a blue-winged warbler (in the same tree).
