String Quartet to Old Town on February 12th at 7pm in Slavonian Hall.
This is the closing concert of the current season for this series of
free musical events and plans are underway for Classical Tuesdays’ 15th
season, starting with a Concert in Old Town Park in September 2019. Stay
tuned!

This evening's program and a discussion of the role of patronage in the
history of chamber music will feature: Franz Joseph Haydn – Quartet in D
major, Op. 71 No. 2 (composed 1793) Dmitri Shostakovich – Quartet No. 10
in A-flat major, Op. 118 (1964) Ludwig van Beethoven – Quartet No. 8 in
E minor, Op. 59 No. 2 (1808)

The Girsky Quartet
