A client put me onto your site and I thought that it would be useful to read
about what other people are up to and interested in and if I can help
anybody at any time then I would be happy to do so, they might have to be
patient if waiting for a reply!
Re my professional background: I have been involved in yacht designing for
approx. 30 years, working in various studios and in different parts of the
world, I have had my own practice for 10 years and have been almost
exclusively designing power and sailing cats for that time.
Before setting up on my own I had worked with a couple of other multihull
designers so my cat design experience goes back about 18 years.
We are a small outfit (me and one other) situated over a river in Auckland,
and we offer a very thorough and professional design service.
The policy here is to listen to what clients want rather than tell them what
I think they want and to keep an open mind when considering the wishes and
desires of the client.
We get a wide variety of work ranging across the whole spectrum of hull
type, styles, and performance which makes life interesting and a challenge
from time to time!
I did not set out to become a cat specialist, quite the contrary in fact,
but it now seems that we must accept the inevitable which is not a situation
that worries me much, happy to get the work and happy to be busy doing it.
I am looking fwd to being involved with Powercatamaranworld.com and a little
interaction with other cat people.

Welcome aboard, Roger!

I'm sure your expertise in design and engineering will be appreciated
by many participants in Power Catamaran List.
