Greetings Listmates - I'm brand new to the list but a long time participant
in the live-aboard mailing list.

I'm contemplating an inland passage from New York City to Mobile, Al this
coming fall.  Besides removing the masts for the trip would my 5' draft
cause undue concern?

What would be the absolute latest in the year one can navigate the system?
I'm estimating a good 4-6 weeks to make it from NYC to Chicago.  Chugging
along at 6 kts will be slooooow.

Thanks
