Upcoming events: Annual Meeting March 19; Winter Carnival Parade January 30.

Our next meeting will be on March 19 at the A.F. Reding Center (Izaak Walton
League Chapter House) in Owatonna.
Ted will be sending a flyer with a map and directions a few weeks ahead of
time. The address is 1546 SW 58th St, Owatonna, MN. 58th Street is also
known as County Rd 31.
We generally start at noon with a pot luck.
This year we will be electing Board Members; I expect the nominating
committee chaired by Susie Manke will have a slate of candidates very soon;
if you are interested in being on the Board please let me or Susie know.
Our program will be related to water work - we will probably look at some
videos of water trials, discuss the specific exercises and hope to announce
the date of a water workshop.
We will also have a meeting of the Northstar Newfoundland Club Rescue
Committee as part of the meeting.
Please let Susie Manke or me know if you would like an item added to the
agenda.
Finally, the St Paul Winter Carnival Grand Day Parade is just about 2 weeks
away. Official notification will come this week - keep your eyes out for a
message about that.

Our dogs are loving the cold. We added another Newf to our family. Loki joined us on December 20th. He is almost three months old. I just have a couple of questions - are our dogs allowed to join us at the meeting in March?
What positions are open on the board. Both Ken and I are very interested in becoming more involved. Please let us know.

Hi Judy, if I recall correctly of the 4 board members up for re-election 2 of them (Tammy Corrow and Richard Donney) have already served 2 terms in a row so can't be re-elected. I believe you and Ken have been nominated by Missy and Chris. And yes as Ted mentioned dogs are always welcome at our meetings.
