Heading to port for repairs: engine mounts

The broken engine mount brings up several good points.  A broken engine
mount on a powered passagemaker can be very serious, and I would suggest
that several identical extra engine mounts be carried in the spares. I broke
an engine mount, which lead to a failed transmission output gear (and no
foreward motion).  Often it is difficult to find identical mounts, so the
entire set has to be replaced.  It is fortunate that Idlewild is close
enough to be able to return without major risk of fuel shortage, or
transmission failure.  Even though we carried both a welding/brazing torch,
and an arc welder, I would replace an engine mount--and want to know why it
broke--being suspect of the other mounts.

I also agree more power to these adventurers--many folks go without
stabalization and some luxaries--it is the adventure and voyage which is
important!
