Arts Bridging Communities, a UW Tacoma team of socially engaged art facilitators, practitioners, and enthusiasts, is having our first open meeting of the Winter quarter, this Friday from 12:30-2:30 in the Whitney Art Building, the brown brick church building on the corner of Fawcett and 19th. Come join us if you want to participate and/or suggest socially engaged arts events for the next 6 months. Our UWT Strategic Initiative Funding runs out in June, so we want to plant some amazing creative seeds in the community and conclude our three years of working together with some stellar events, interventions, and workshops. Come brainstorm with us. Members of the Tacoma community interested in socially engaged art are most welcome to join us.
